BioShock Infinite can’t make to it’s promised release date, pushed back until 2013. Not only that, but Fans wont gonna see BioShock in the next E3 and Gamescom.
BioShock Infinite cannot make it to it’s October 2012 release date and pushed back until February 26, 2013. Earlier, Irrational Games creative director Ken Levine said in a statement about the extra development time that the studio needed to test out new ideas for the game,
“When we announced the release date of BioShock Infinite in March, we felt pretty good about the timing,” he said. “Since then, we’ve uncovered opportunities to make Infinite into something even more extraordinary. Therefore, to give our talented team the time they need to deliver the best Infinite possible, we’ve decided to move the game’s release to February.”
In a update released by Irrational in their website, Ken Levine also explained that they can’t show off their game at the next Electronic’s Entertainment Expo and Gamescom.
“That way, the next time you see our game, it will be essentially the product we intend to put in the box,” he explained. “Preparing for these events takes time away from development.”
